Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri has welcomed travelers since the 17th century, and today it's one of Norway's most beloved hotels — a quiet, unhurried harbor village where it's genuinely easy to step away from the noise and busyness of daily life. The chefs here take real pride in their craft, and the menu is built around what local fishermen bring in each morning. And despite feeling like a world apart, Bekkjarvik is easily accessible by boat from both Bergen and Bømlo/Stord.
This cohort is designed for leaders and independent professionals who are ready to work on their business — not just in it. Over the course of the program, you'll gain practical tools for understanding yourself as a leader, work through real challenges alongside a small group of peers facing similar challenges, and leave with new ideas, renewed vision, and a network that doesn't disappear when the day ends.
We've taken the best of coaching, consulting, and in-person learning and built them into a program designed around your schedule and your budget. Ready to find out if it's a fit? Get in touch — we'd love to help.
Part One
In-person, one-day intensive
August 28, 09:30 start
(program ends at 17:00, followed by dinner)
We limit each gathering to a maximum of 12 people — small enough to build real trust, quickly. The day is structured around practical frameworks for understanding yourself as a leader: where you're strong, where you're stuck, and how to tell the difference. The content is designed to be honest and at times challenging — but always in service of helping you find new ways forward. You'll leave with a clearer picture of where you are, a set of tools to start working with, and a group of people who've been through it alongside you. Toward the end of the day, you'll be placed into a small group of 3–5 people — your cohort for the digital sessions ahead.
Lunch, dinner, snacks, and coffee/tea are included throughout the day.
Part Two
Digital Cohorts
After the in-person intensive, your cohort of 3–5 people meets digitally every two weeks for two months — four sessions in total. Each meeting is built around the real challenges participants bring with them, guided by your facilitator and supported by short between-session assignments to keep the momentum going.
When your cohort needs outside expertise — whether that's in conflict resolution or communication — we bring in the right person. We've built a network of experienced collaborators across a range of fields, ready to contribute when the need arises.
Part Three
Personal Follow-up
Two one-on-one sessions with your facilitator are included — yours to schedule at your own pace over the following months. These are your space to go deeper on whatever's most relevant for you: a challenge that came up in the cohort, something you're still working through, or simply a chance to think out loud with someone who knows your context.
Your facilitator is Patrick Noonan, founder of Ravel. Patrick has spent 15+ years leading and working within organizations across multiple countries and industries — and has experienced firsthand both the rewards and the particular loneliness of leadership. That's a big part of why he built this.
